Polocrosse in Germany
Ivor Young from Ireland and I started Polocrosse in Germany and I’m working hard since several years to make Polocrosse popular in Germany. At the moment there are three places in Germany where Polocrosse is played. All together I think there are about 30 players in Germany.
During the last years members of our club (especially myself) took part at international Polocrosse tournaments in England, France, Netherlands and Ireland. At our place I hope we will have the first official German Polocrosse club soon (at the moment we have12 players at our club). And we try to found an official Polocrosse Association in Germany which is not so easy because to become an Association in Germany we need at least ten clubs. So in Germany we are an unofficial Association at the moment.

Press release: First official Polocrosse-Club in Germany
Dear All,
We would like to inform you about Germany`s first official Polocross-Club. The “Reit- und Polocrosse-Verein Kananohe e.V.” is based in Langenhagen-Kananohe, a small pretty village close to Hannover, Lower-Saxony, Germany.
Club-President and owner is Mrs. Kirsten Breschke. The club has many stables, a polocross ground, a riding hall and other facilities, which our members, friends and visitors can use for practicing. Our training-times are once a week and anybody who wants to join us is welcome.
The club has been running for three years now and we hold our own tournaments as well as entering international ones. Last year we competed in tournaments in Holland and came away with some pleasing results. For the coming season we are looking forward to playing many more chukkers and games and expanding the popularity of polocross throughout Germany.
