Playing Rules – World Cup, Quadrangular and 7 or 8 Person Teams

As revised 15th July 2009

These rules have been progressively drafted over a considerable period and have been successfully used at the 2003 and 2007 World Cups, 2009 Quadrangular Series and many individual Test Series.

At international tournaments all chukkas will be 8 x 6 minutes unless otherwise agreed by competing countries.

As I am sure you are all by now aware, the venue for our World Cup Event has been chosen – Bishop Burton College, Nr Beverley, East Yorkshire.

UK venue announced for Polocrosse 2011 World Cup!!!

The venue has recently been announced to host the Polocrosse 2011 World Cup in the United Kingdom – which will be held at Bishop Burton College, near Beverley in East Yorkshire.

World Cup format suggestions

As the number of member IPC countries grows so do the number of teams wanting to plarticipate. The world cup host country will have difficulty supplying horses for larger number of countries challenging for the world cup. How can the IPC best accomodate?
