Please find below a press release concerning the showing of the UK versus Ireland Polocrosse test matches on Sky Sports in October and attached the actual transmission dates and times for circulation around your members and putting on websites etc.
I hope most of you around the world can get Sky one way or another, if not the test matches will be going up on the Country Channel online TV website, www.countrychannel.co.uk at some point in the near future and I’ll let you all know when it is up there and it will be linked off the UKPA website like the South Africa programmes are at the moment.
I hope you all agree with us that it is brilliant to have this much polocrosse footage on TV and we are delighted this year that Sky have taken hour long programmes, rather than the half an hour we had last year, and that the filming was done using more cameras to add different angle shots and with a recording of the live commentary which adds a great deal to the programmes.
