The American Polocrosse Association (APA) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization and is the official polocrosse organization in the USA.
It was originally formed in 1984 in Phoenix, Arizona and it has helped polocrosse clubs organize from coast to coast.
The APA is a member of the International Polocrosse Council (IPC) and an affiliated association of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has written the official USA rule book.
The association provides:
• Club insurance
• Umpire training and certification
• Coaching accreditation
• Instructional clinics
• Sanctioning of tournaments
• Selection of teams for international competition
I was at the 2007 world cup with the Zimbabwe team and would like to know more about polocrosse in the USA, as was planning a trip to the States and would love to meet other players and officials.
